Russia likely did not join the Spanish war because they saw you join. If you had waited a single day before accepting the call to war, they perhaps would have joined.
China can't join because YOU HAVE TROOPS INSIDE THEIR BORDERS.
Also, the AI never ever calls anyone into a war except on the first day.
I'm pretty sure that Communist rebels popped up because while your government supports Communism, the vast majority of Italian voters are still not Communists. I imagine your rebels were concerned about spreading the ideology more quickly. The will of the people is kind of a big deal to them.

Shen, I started playing as the UK, there were tons of options to release countries on Africa that didn't have cores and never existed. I don't think it's your game, it's a new feature. Sorry if this comment doesn't fit on this video.

Ahhhh, removing the Ottomans from another power's sphere is so satisfying. I just did that today as the USA taking them from Russia. It took a while, but tons of railroads, factories, and sneaky influence tactics got me an Ottoman buddy.
