I suspect a lot of customers try to emotionally "buy money" using 1.01 backs, as it works out majority of times even if the real price should be 1.03, unless they do it many many times they often won't realise that it's losing them cash as they're account balance only goes up til they crash and burn, plus every year there are new customers who likely fall into the same trap.
Can confirm 2% matket base rate commission in UK, although in certain AUS mkts we still have to pay as high as 10% commission (NSW racing), however funnily enough the market activity seems to fall in line with this, meaning you can often get a better price your opportunity so things sort of balance out

Crazy to see on the graph how commissions change the results. Also you are right about Uk commission we can choose between 3 packages. 2%-5%or 8% commission on net winnings in Exchange markets. Today i spotted a trade on 2.27% commission and i will contact them to learn why. Great videos!
